About Workfloor Thoughts

Workfloor Thoughts is a place for reflection.
Not advice. Not career coaching. Not quick fixes.

It’s a space where the everyday experience of work is observed, named and understood, without drama, without jargon, without pretending that work is only about performance.

Most of what shapes our working lives is rarely spoken about:

  • The quiet frustration of being overlooked.

  • The gap between what was promised and what actually happens.

  • The dynamics between people, roles, power and expectations.

  • The moments where you realise something feels off, but can’t quite explain why

  • The fatigue because your job doesn’t match anymore with who you really are.

  • That one co-worker, who makes you blush.

This platform exists to give words to those moments.

The texts here are not “stories” in the traditional sense. They are reflections. Thoughts shaped by psychology, lived experience and close observation of how people behave at work and what that behaviour does to them.

Workfloor Thoughts is meant to be read slowly, In between meetings, on a train ride home, on a Sunday evening when work quietly enters your thoughts again.

Over time, I hope this platform will grow beyond reflection alone. For now, this is a place to recognise yourself and sometimes, to realise that what you feel is not personal failure, but a shared experience.

You can explore reflections by theme or take a look at the library if you’d like to go a little deeper.

With love,
Karine (just like the French ‘Carine’)
